My fans and well-wishers have been insisting that I convert my fans welfare associations (numbering over 37,000) throughout the state into a political outfit. There has been a series of meetings over their request and I also attended a few. I am currently busy acting. I haven't thought about floating a political party, though I agree with their view. Already, my fans have become my followers. My fans have been involved in various social activities over the last few years benefiting several thousands of people. We want to reach out to the maximum. Hence we are keen on making it a social organization and do many activities on a large scale that would benefit society," the actor explained.
On this marvelous day Vijay's father S.A Chandrasekar joined blood donation camping and eye camp for the deprived people, which was organized by the Vijay's fans club.
Besides Vijay's fans arranged free meals for poor people, and the meals was distributed to Poor's by Vijay's father S.A Chandreasekar, in this occasion he spoke some few words about his son Vijay and appreciated Vijay's fans for organizing a grand show for Vijay.

With the memories of his late sister Vidhya, Vijay has decided that it is time for him to build a school and give free education to the needy and help them have a successful career. On the 23rd November, 2008 our ‘Ilayathalapathy’ Vijay opened his own school at Hosur, near Bengaluru. We are hoping that there will be a lot of kids benefited by this move from Vijay. |

Vijay had participated in a big occasion arranged by his fan’s association in Madurai and donated cows for the livelihood of needy people. (Pasu Danam).
In an event conducted in Pondichery, Vijay distributed, tailoring machines, tri-cycles for handicapped people, cooking stoves, rise bags, dhotis & saris for men & women, hearing-aid & monetary help for eye operation for needy people. Also he sponsored for eye operation for few elderly people.
Vijay & his wife Sangeetha made a practice of spending the Deepawali with needy kids.
Vijay often conducts marriage for poor girls and present them all the basic necessaries.
He visits Egmore government hospital and presents gold rings for 50 new born on his birthday. Vijay has constructed a home for poor in Manapadu, near Mary Madha church.
He has renovated Pennagaram temple. Vijay has donated vacant plots for needy people in Virudhunagar.
Vijay’s fans are well organized and directed to do social services inclusive of conducting blood donation camps, campaigning for eye donation, medical camps etc.,
